Important Information
  • Picture Day Make-Up will be Monday January 31st
    • New students and students who were absent on the first picture day will have their individual photos taken
    • We will also take a whole 4th grade class photo
  • STAR Assessments are next week
    • Reading is Tuesday and Math is Wednesday
    • If your child has headphones, please have them bring them in by Wednesday
      • If not, we have some extras
  • No School Friday Nov. 4th in lieu of Zoom Parent - Teacher Conferences
    • Unlike the fall conferences, we will not be meeting with all families
    • If you didn't receive an invite for a conference but have a question or concern, please e-mail us to schedule a time to chat
  • Swimming will resume next week
    • Please remember to have your child pack their swim gear on Thursdays

    • If your child wants to participate, they must bring in a card and/or treat FOR EVERYONE

      • Note taking on natural disaster subcategories: causes/effects, safety/preparation, & real life examples

    • Persuasive essays: shifting from personal opinions to broader world debates
    • Brainstorming using 3 strategies: freewriting, listing, and word webs

    • Introduced new word study groups based on mid-year spelling assessment
    • Began work with spelling list #6

      • New Calendar Pattern - shapes
